More about the Program

The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) encourages San Antonio’s youth to achieve their college and career goals and offers an abundance of resources to help attain those goals.

On Wednesday, August 13, high school juniors and seniors are invited to visit Landa Branch Library to get help with searching and applying for college scholarships. Librarians will be on hand to guide students through the process. The students will also have a chance to get help with writing college essays, and will learn more about how to “market” themselves to colleges and universities.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops and headphones. Some laptops will be available for use at the Library.

Iced coffees and snacks will also be available, provided by the Friends of the Landa Branch Library.

For more information on the program contact Beatrice Canales at 210-207-9090.
