A Very Thrifty Tea Party

*Disclosure: I recieved a Goodwill gift card to purchase the items featured in this post*

Recently I attended a tea party at one of the public library branches here in San Antonio. My friends and I had a lot of fun and wanted to start having tea parties of our own.
The only thing was that I had no pretty tea cups, saucers, and a small budget to buy enough cups and saucers for a party of 6!

Of course I went to the cheapest place I could think of- Goodwill here in San Antonio (and I mean cheap in a good way!). I found some great vintage cups and saucers. They don't all match perfectly, but I really like a variety of patterns to mix. This is a great, pretty, updated way to "do" tea parties! Each person can pick their favorite pattern. The different patterns really spark conversation. Each item pictured (except the blue serving bowl, that was $2.99) was 99 cents!! Other things to look for: placemats, cloth napkins, DOILIES, and table cloths!

Now who is ready for some tea?
