Barefoot Books Sticker Review! Giveaway!!

WINNER IS COMMENT #3, NEVEN JONES!
THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMMENTING AND WE WILL DO SOMETHING SIMILAR SOON!!

you heard about Barefoot Books? They are an independent children's book publishing company based in Boston, MA and London. This is one of the ONLY independent children's publishers left in the WORLD.

I am a Barefoot Books Ambassador (Disclosure: I do earn $ if you click on the link to my Barefoot Books page and place an order).

If you know me, or have read my previous post Book Affair, you know that we love books in our house. My journey with Barefoot began 3 years ago, when someone (I will forever wonder who and be grateful to them) gave me a Barefoot Book for my baby shower. I read to my son even before he was born, and this sweet little book, “Cleo and Caspar” was one of my favorites. I loved how the lines rhymed, and how beautiful the artwork was. I always wondered about Barefoot Books, but never did a google search. When we moved to Massachusetts a year later, I noticed that Barefoot Books had an amazing studio with wonderful children's activities near where we lived. I finally did the google search...and now I sell Barefoot and have even more books for my children, all while earning a bit of spending money.

Top reasons I love Barefoot:
  1. All art is original, by real artists (no computer generated cartoons)
  2. High quality books are printed on eco friendly ancient forest friendly papers
  3. Barefoot celebrates DIVERSITY!! I have seen the following in books: children of all colors, child in a wheelchair, age diversity of adults. I have even seen babywearing in a couple of the books!!
Recently, there have been some awesomely amazing new products launched. Puzzles, stickers, and games to name a few. I was already sold on the books but was a bit skeptical on the other stuff. I decided to try the new stickers by Dejeco. Since I am always looking for activities to promote fine motor skills, I figured this might be good.
The pack of stickers includes 160 stickers and is $4.99.
My son and I tried them out!
Here is what we found:
  1. Stickers are from real drawings
  2. Stickers seemed a lot thicker and were easier to hold for my son vs. other store bought stickers we had at the house. They did not tear while being removed from the original paper.
  3. The pirates and knights sticker sets “match” with the Barefoot Book of Knights, and the Barefoot Book of Pirates and would make great gifts!

I am really happy with them and can't wait to order a few more packs to have around the house to mix up our activity time.
