First Birthday Party Sweetness

My little dear recently turned ONE!! I can still hardly believe she is already
one and that her birthday is over! I wanted to share her party with you here on the blog.
The theme was GOLD and PINK. Finding the invites proved difficult. Every invitation store steered me towards the baby invites (which were sweet, but not what I was looking for). I finally found the invites in the wedding shower section!
I tried to use as much "real" linens and dishes as possible, as I hate the expense and waste of disposable items. I found out that my mom had a secret party dish stash and awesome vintage linens! She really saved the day with her supplies.

Balloons in the yard (thanks for the idea Pinterest!) I weighed them down with blocks
Gold glitter and pink die cut invite! Perfect!

Pink party bags with gold heart doilies

real plates!

one picture for every month

The cake was from a local bakery, Bird Bakery. The flavor was chocolate with sea salt caramel buttercream frosting. It was GOLD. The cake was GOLD. Amazing, and so so pretty! The party girl was exhausted at the end of the party. We had a pretty, simple party with our close family members, and had a very special day.
